Morgan Lineberry (Abilene Christian) - Morgan is a strong legged kicker who was very prolific in his early years at Abilene Christian. He is someone that gets great height on his FG and earned a spot at the Texas vs USA game. Morgan was 7 of 8 on FG inside of 40 yards his senior season. At the Elite Camp Morgan's "A" ball was in the top 5% at camp. He is very knowledgeable about kicking and is someone we feel deserves a strong look at by the NFL.

(Senior) Named Preseason First Team All-American by Beyond Sports Network and usacollegefootball.com. Finished the season by breaking the ACU career record for most field goals in a career with 50, and the third most points scored in a career with 290 (2nd most by a kicker).
(Junior) Finished the season with first team all-Lone Star Conference and all-region honors connecting on 13-16 field goals with a long of 54 yards and 86 points scored on the campaign. The 54-yard field goal was the 4th of his career, which set a new record for most 50+ yard field goals in a career. Twice went 3-3 on field goals in a game, and twice scored 15 points in a game (tied for 3rd most in a single game in ACU history).
(Sophomore) Second team Daktronics all-region IV as selected by CoSIDA and honorable mention all-LSC kicker with 21 field goals (of 30 attempted) to set ACU and Lone Star Conference records for most field goals in a season. He had a long of 49 yards, and tied the single game ACU kick scoring mark of 17 points in a 65-3 win over Tarleton State (3-3 FG, 8-8 PAT) earning him LSC Player of the Week honors. Led team with 111 points, tied for NCAA Division II lead FG per game (1.91), tied for sixth in NCAA Division II scoring (10.09 points per game), runner-up in LSC scoring, and led LSC in kick scoring.
(Freshman) Went 9-13 on Field Goals (long of 56) and totaled 45 points. Went 3-3 on field goals over 50 yards, and 56-yarder ranks 3rd longest in school history. Won LSC and D2Football.com Special Teams Player of the Week honors 11/9/09 (Making 51 and 56 yard field goals). He handled kickoff duties all season and field goal job last half of the season.
High School Recap
Four-year letterman in football, baseball, basketball, golf and tennis at Lakehill Prep. As a senior quarterback, he completed 80 of 160 passes for 1,275 yards and 17 touchdowns and ran the ball 140 times for 1,290 yards and 31 touchdowns. He also connected on 38 of 40 PATs, and 95 percent of his kickoffs were touchbacks. He was a TAPPS six-man Division I all-state kicker and a first team all-district quarterback and kicker and second team all-district safety. He was a three-time first team all-district baseball player and two-time honorable mention all-state selection. As a senior he was a first team all-district basketball player, and as a junior he was member of the state champion doubles team in tennis.
