    Kohl's Comments

Maiuolo has attended previous camps with the most recent being the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2017. He charted well during the field goal portions of camp going 20 out of 33. He shows talent in his ball striking ability, the key for improvement will be continued experience. He has good overall talent and seems to be motivated to train.

    Athlete Bio

I am a 5'9’’, 165lb, smart (4.38 GPA), senior, fast-legged and accurate kicker/punter from California D2-A 2017 State Champions Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, CA. As a consistent, tough and athletic kicker (wrestling, soccer, Tae-Kwon-Do 2nd Dan black belt) with an absolute thirst for being the best kicker possible, it is my goal to attend and kick at a high caliber school where I can also achieve a great academic fit. I plan to major in Engineering and I would love to get into a college with a very strong football tradition.

So, why me? Because first and foremost I am an athlete and a person of impeccable character. I know exactly what I want and set goals to get there. I have a great work ethic and attention to detail, modest but confident! My best attribute is my calm and relaxed nature: I do not get rattled no matter what the situation is. I believe that preparedness leads to confidence, and confidence leads to success.

Besides football, I love martial arts: I have a 13 years experience and I am an assistant instructor. I credit Tae-Kwon-Do for my athletic ability, and especially for my strong mental attitude required to perform under pressure, the discipline to follow a program and the firm will to learn very fast from my coaches.

I have started wrestling in my freshman year in high school, and I absolutely love it, and find it very helpful in building both individual skills and team spirit.

I also love to rock climb with my parents, my brother and my friends, and turn to the outdoors whenever I have the opportunity.
