Kohl's Comments

Barnes had a solid showing at the 2017 National Scholarship Camp. His field goal technique was improved, his field goal technique was sharp and the ball we repeatable, he scored 20 made kicks. Eliminating miss hits on kickoffs should help increase his command of his "A" ball which is at the 4.5 level. Barnes attended the 2017 Spring Southern Showcase Camps. He has made improvement on his KO's since this winter and averaged over 58 yards per kick. Creating more control of his ball flight and rotation on FG's will be key for his continued improvement.
