Blake has good snap mechanics but will benefit from increased strength in both upper and lower body. He needs to be more explosive with his lower body and accelerate his hands through the snap. Blake is accurate with his short snaps and has a consistent snap speed, but he needs to improve his overall LS accuracy. Blake had a good second set at the Western Showcase Camp in December, 2011 as he connected on all 5 of his snaps while averaging a snap time of .81 seconds. Blake gets good depth on his kick but needs to keep his hips and shoulders square to the LOS.
