I was born in Guatemala and adopted by Mark and Trishia Kohnen when I was 10 years old. I was placed in the 4th grade of Germantown Elementary School in Germantown,Illinois. I am now a junior at Mater Dei Catholic High School in Breese, Illinois. I dressed varsity as a freshman and I started long snapping for our varsity team as a sophomore, and continue till this day. I also play Fullback and Defensive End. I am a dedicated player who has a good work ethic and a strong desire to contribute to the team. I am looking for a College or University who will give me the opportunity to prove myself both on the field and academically.
As a long snapper, I bring the team a consistently fast ball, accurate snap, both at the 15 yard line and 7 yard line. My long snap is an average time of .71 seconds. I also have the ability to get down field to make the tackle. As a Fullback I bring the team good blocking skills for my running back and protection to the quarterback. As a Defensive End I bring the team strength to stop the run and the ability to get to the quarterback in a passing situation. I am always ready to listen to coaches in order to achieve my best potential.
I am interested in receiving any information from Colleges or Universities regarding their programs or interests in myself.

Snapper Ranking
Class of 2013
11th
Christian has good overall accuracy on his long snaps and can tighten up his accuracy with his short snaps. He has great velocity from 14 yards and averaged a snap time of .74 seconds with his best snap time of the day at .69 seconds at the Midwest Showcase camp in December. Christian has outstanding potential and will see increased results with a few minor adjustments to his technique. He has good snap location while getting back into protection and is light on his feet. Christian participated in the 2012 Underclassmen Challenge in Orlando, FL and finished with an average snap time of .71 seconds. Christian performed well during the drill segment of camp and snapped well to the punters and holders during the live kicking competitions.
