Cody has smooth snap mechanics and good overall accuracy on his snaps. At the 2011 December Western Showcase Camp, Cody connected on 12/15 snaps and went 5/5 on his last set scoring 9/10 points. Cody averaged a snap time of .82 seconds with his daily best of .78 seconds. He is able to keep his accuracy to a target while protecting either "A" gap. Cody has an explosive 1st and 2nd step which allows him a quick release off the LOS. Cody performed well during the drill and live snap sessions of the 2012 Underclassmen Challenge. He also performed well during the strength segment of camp by completing 225 X 7 on the bench.
