Daniel is an accurate snapper both on long and short snaps. His snap velocity is good and has continued to improve by him maximizing his lower and upper body explosiveness. He has an average snap time of .83 seconds from a 14 yard distance and his accuracy during all phases of protection (pro-style/spread punt formations) is very good. Daniel was the top finisher of the Texas Showcase Event in December, 2011 and was also the snap competition runner-up. He has very good feet which allow him to get good depth on his kick step in protection and also allow for good explosion during his first and second steps off the LOS.
