Kohl's Kicker Rating

Kohl's Punter Rating

Moraschinelli attended the winter Showcase Camp in December of 2016. His leg speed gives him a chance to do some very positive things as a specialist. He rarely hits his “A” ball, however his “A” ball is impressive when he hits it. He shows potential and has good athleticism but technical progress is needed to maximize his full potential.

My name is Jacob Moraschinelli, I play football for the Bulldogs in Brighton Michigan.  I'm a starter for the freshman football team as both the kicker and defensive end.  I've enjoyed great success at both positions this year and really enjoy all that is football!  As a transfer from another school district this year, I was able to attend most of the summer conditioning at my new school and make enough of an impact that I was selected as the starting DE and kicker out of 54 other players.

Additionally, I was pulled up to varsity to practice with the team for their playoff game and was named starting kicker for KO's where I had 1 TB and averaged just over 54 yds. per kick.  As a freshman I averaged 52 yards p/KO, went 19/21 PAT's, averaged punts of 35 yards with a long of 56 and was 1/1 on FG's of 27 yards.  I also had 4 sacks as DE, 7 tackles and 4 assists.

I've attended kicking camps resulting in top 3 finishes competing against a combined 30+ kickers in my group(s). Currently I am capable of hitting FG's of 50+ yards with some consistency as my leg strength is still developing.  I love to work hard and strive to be the best prepared athlete on the field regardless of the sport I'm participating in

I'm also a high level lacrosse player.  During the off-season I play for Detroit Catholic Central's feeder team (Shamrocks) that competes in the MPLL.  I was named season defensive MVP for two different clubs (Blue Crew 15', Devil Dogs 14') and 16' "Pipe city" defensive MVP where our team won the division championship.   I was recently invited to play in the Dick's Sporting Goods TOC this winter (Tampa, FL) with Shamrocks Lacrosse and plan to continue playing lacrosse and football throughout high school.
