Rice recently earned a five star rating in the spring of 2017 and followed it up with a great National Scholarship Camp. He made a tremendous jump in national rankings this past spring and summer because his leg speed and consistency is rare. Rice attended the Texas Showcase and went ball for ball with Bubba Baxa. He ended up winning the FG competition with a blast from over 60 yards away. He also won the Midwest Showcase KO competition with an 80 yard blast. He has moved into an elite category nationally. His frame and leg speed make him a very intriguing prospect. Rice's brother is currently a college kicker as well and Rice should be college ready from Day one on campus!
