Thanks for reviewing my statistics at Kohl's Kicking...
My name is John Kranendonk, Class of 2013, from Land O Lakes High School in Land O Lakes FL, 20 minutes north of Tampa. Many notables have come out of my high school in resent years. Drew Weatherford, Florida State QB, Caz Purowski FL State TE, Logan Payne Minn State, Seattle Seahawks, Joey Tuttle Univ. of Central Fl and NFL Long snapper, and most recently Kent Taylor 2011 #1 TE Recruit, FL Gators.
I have been playing football since I have been 8 years old . Starting with POP WARNER (All American) through 6 grade. Played in middle school 7/8 grade playing both ways, center and def. tackle, both freshman and sophmore year played both ways same positions. In 2010 as a sophmore I played JV and Varsity. I started long snapping in 9th grade and I have strived to to better myself with this specialty skill to allow more recognition to be able to play at the next level.
I am also the starting center at Land O Lakes High School and play on defense at nose guard and d-end. I stive to be a leader both on and off the field, especially in the classroom encouraging my fellow team mates to strive to keep their grades up, even though our FB schedule is so demanding. I currently have a 3.47 GPA and take honors courses in preperation for college!

I was invited back to the ESPN underclassmen challenge in January in Orlando to compete with the top 10% off all longsnappers that have participated with Kohls. Currently I have a 4.5 star rating and look to better that in 2012.

Quote from Kohl's "John has very good accuracy on his short snaps and snaps the ball with good rotation and a consistent snap speed. He recorded 14/15 SS during the Southern Showcase camp in December, 2011. John finished camp with an average LS time of .75 seconds, but will benefit from becoming more accurate. During the protection segment of camp, John was able to show that he had an explosive first step off the LOS but needs to improve his footwork on his kick set. John finished 3rd of all 2013 snappers. John was a participant at the 2012 Underclassmen Challenge. He needs to continue to work on his accuracy and velocity. John finished camp with an average snap time of .79 seconds."
I have made a commitment to 3 camps including a scholarship camp in Wisconsin in July to better ny skills prior to the 2012 season
