During middle school through high school junior varsity I was the starting center and long snapper on the Brentwood Middle and High School teams. My dream though has always been to kick and punt so over the summer before my junior year I lost 30 pounds and started working with the Brentwood High kicking coach. I started attending kicking camps in the spring of my junior year and have been to several Kohls, Ray Guy and college camps(Tennessee and Vanderbilt) over the past few months where I've perfomed very well among my peer group of 2012 graduates. Since I only started kicking during my junior year in high school, I believe I still have room to improve and have started to take private lessons with James Wilhoit (former University of Tennessee kicker).
I have also performed well academically in high school (3.5 cumulative GPA) and have gained an AP credit with a 4 on the AP U.S History course. I am taking AP Stats, English 4, Government, and Economics to gain more college credit during my senior year. I am also very involved in our school FCA chapter and am serving in an officer capacity during my senior year. I am also very active in my church youth group activities at Cleaview Baptist Church.
