Kohl's Comments

Small had an impressive weekend at the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2017. He won the 2nd spot to kick in the Under Armour All-American Game. Small had to kick multiple 60 yard FG's to secure that spot. He firmly cemented himself among the best combo prospects in his class. His punting is smooth and very repeatable, increasing his extension with his arms will be important for future improvements. Small's FG's are consistent and his rotation and control of ball flight are outstanding. He is a very talented combo prospect and should be able to compete immediately in college. Small is a hard worker who is very mature for his age!
