I have been long snapping for 7 years. I started snapping
for my junior football team as a sixth grader and I feel I have grown into an
exceptional long snapper. I was the starting long snapper on my freshmen team.
I became the starting long snapper on the Varsity team my sophomore year and
received my first Varsity letter and I also did all the snapping duties on the
JV squad as well. As a junior I was the starting long snapper on both the Varsity
and JV squads receiving my second varsity letter. I also played Defensive End
on the JV squad. To date in my High School career all my snaps have been
successfully kicked.
I started attending long snapping camps when I was a
freshman in High School to sharpen and improve my snapping skills. Over the
past four years I have attended 13 camps including Kohl’s Professional Camps,
Pro Kicker Camps and Kornblue Kicking Camps learning and growing in the art of
Long Snapping at each camp. By attending these camps and working hard to be the
best snapper I can be I have been recognized for my ability by being selected
to play in the ESPN Under-Armour All America Football Game on January 5th
2012.

Top performer for the 2011 National Invitation Scholarship Camp. Zach is a snapper with long levers and a very smooth snap delivery. He is consistent from 14 yards with a .72 seconds average snap time. Zach is very athletic and runs well with a 40 time of 5.1 seconds. His long snap and short snap accuracy are very good and he is an athlete that looks forward to the pressure situations. The past 3 camps that Zach has attended, he has walked away either the winner of the snap challenge or the top overall performer. He truly does thrive in pressure situations and I look for this to be helpful when competing for a starting spot. If I'm facing fourth and ten from our own 7, I want Hirth. Zach also was the top finisher and snap competition winner at the 2011 Midwest Showcase Event. He has proven over and over that he thrives under pressure situations.
