2013 Kickers National Rating System

12/31/11 - This is the 3rd of 3 rankings Kohl's will do this year. We only evaluate campers that we have personally seen at a Kohl's camp. In order to assure yourself a ranking you must attend a Kohl's Showcase camp or the Scholarship camp. When ranking we ask the question, "If there was a college game today, is this athlete ready to help a college team win?". We look at the camp charts and take into account the different conditions at each camp. We also look strongly at how an athlete performs in drill work when they know they are being evaluated and graded. We see how they handle pressure and react in the camp competitions. We see certain athletes multiple times a year and try to grade them on their average performance. RANKINGS NOTE: Kohl's sees more athletes than anyone else in America at our 105 events. There may be over 200 Kohl's high school seniors playing college football next season. There are many good prospects at the 4.0 and 4.5 star levels that will start in college in the future.

4 Cummings, Ty 170 6' O" Ty had a great Underclassman Challenge and is a D1 kicker, competed very well day 2 of camp, confident athlete, hits a clean ball on FG, KO are big-time, has a chance to be number 1 kicker before its all over, explosive hips, handled competition well TX
5 Morgan, Aron 165 6' O" Aron has a lot of power, one of the strongest FG legs in his class, He also showed lots of potential on his KO's at the 2010 Eastern Showcase, he showed improvement in Dec of 2011, hits a clean ball on FG, has great range, had great Underclassman Challenge PA
6 King, Jonathan 160 6' 2" Jonathan King impressed many staff members at the Southern Showcase Camp in Dec. of 2011, he showed impressive leg speed and coordination for both kicking and punting, currently he is a better kicker than punter, looks like a D1 athlete in the making TN
7 Holmes, Bryan 190 5' 11" Bryan is a super talent, he finished 1st in KO at the National Scholarship Camp in 2011 for his age group, has great FG range, needs to refine ball striking on his FG and punts but is a D1 talent, injured right now but has talent to be #1 MI
8 Geiger, Michael 175 5' 9" Michael avg. 67 yard with 3.6 hang-time on his KO's, he also scored 21 points at the National Scholarship Camp on FG, he has proven himself many times at Kohl's camps, punts very well for a 2013 class member as well, has an elite leg, he needs to show he can hit a clean ball in the upcoming pressure rounds OH
9 Covington, Sean 195 6' 2" Sean hit 3 of the best FG anyone could hit in the pressure round at the National Scholarship Camp, technically he can improve as a kicker and punter but his talent is undeniable in both k and p, strong power leg and great confidence, has done well at multiple Kohl's events FL
10 Bergner, Miles 175 6' O" Miles put up great numbers at the National Scholarship Camp in 2011, his KO and FG are at the college level, he is someone to watch because his talent is outstanding, finished 2nd at the Western Showcase Camp in the FG competition, has range from 60 yards away on FG, like to see him hit a slower rotation on his kicks, punting leg is special CO
11 Bornand, Nicolai 225 6' 2" Nicolai might have had the strongest leg at the Western Showcase Camp, his punting and kicking were both impressive, he is a great raw talent who if he can make progress technically can become a big-time recruit, ball explodes off his foot, may have the fastest leg in the class, consistent ball striking needs some work in both kicking and punting CA
12 Gonzalez, Zane 151 6' O" Zane has attended multiple Kohl's events and had a solid hs season, his UC Challenge was his most impressive performance, he went 10-10 on FG and that included two 55 yard FG in the sesssion, he does need to get more height on his kicks, lot of potential as FG kicker, good punter as well TX
13 Grogan, Ben 165 6' 1" Ben was dominant at the Texas Showcase in Dec of 2011, he hit clean ball that stayed straight and had great height on his kicks, his KO are solid but will need to continue to get stronger to maintain his ranking, D1 prospect TX

19 Rouleau, Connor 208 6' 1" Connor showed the best FG range at the Southern Showcase Camp in Dec of 2011, he showed an ability to hit 50-55 yard FG into the wind, has a powerful leg, needs to work on his KO to get them at the same level as his FG range, his punting could be improved through raising his drop slightly GA
20 Antognoli, Andrew 190 6' 3" Andrew is way ahead of his peers on kicking FG off the ground. His ball striking was amazing during the drill work phase of the Western Showcase Camp held 5-1-11. He was consistently making 50 yard FG into the wind off the ground. His ball striking and overall coordination on kick offs needs work to match his FG skills. His approach on FG could improve by shortening his drive step slightly. Overall Andrew is a big-time prospect. Showed improvement on his KO at National Scholarship Camp CA
21 Slemp, Preston 185 5' 11" Preston showed very well at the National Scholarship Camp in 2010, He finished 3rd on FG for his age group and in the top 100 overall on KO's. He also had a solid outing at the May 2011 Showcase Camp. He trains hard on his kicking, and has shown 4.5 level talent in the past, but seems to be in a slump lately, his #'s were at a lower level for the 2011 Scholarship Camp, but talent and potential is still at the 4.5 star level, needs to produce better on KO and FG to keep his rating up GA
22 Krysalka, Danny 185 6' 2" Danny competed at Southern Showcase Camp in May of 2011, he showed D1 leg strength in both kicking and punting, like most 2013 prospects he needs to clean up his fg and punting technique, I liked his focus and ability to concentrate during the drill work phase and competition phases of camp, very talented combo k/p FL
23 Swimberghe, Luc 190 6' 1" Luc is a big athletic kicker who shows 4.5 ability already. He has attended multiple Kohl's events and had his best showing at the Mountain Showcase in May of 2011, which he followed with a strong showing at the recent National Scholarship Camp. He is a coordinated athlete who has great potential in the years to come, pure ball striker, had great UC Challenge, KO's have improved, FG are solid, ball is clean, stepped up at the Underclassman Challege TX

25 Gantz, Andrew 165 5' 9" Andrew attended the 2011 National Scholarship Camp and graded out as a 4 star kicker on both FG and KO, he went 3 for 3 in the pressure round, at the Midwest Showcase Camp he showed improvement and a very fast leg, his KO's were very impressive in Dec of 2011 OH
26 Welch, Brendan 155 5' 11" Brendan attended the Texas Showcase Camp in Dec. of 2010 and had some of the most impressive charts at the camp. With around 100 athletes in attendance, he was kicking at a level a couple of years older than he currently is, solid ball striker, hit great FG off the ground, does need to improve hang-times on his kick offs in the years to come, KO's are key to him moving up in the rankings TN

60 Dentice, Stephen 185 6' 3" Steve has made good progress this summer in punting, his FG consistency still needs work but his leg strength makes him a college prospect both as a kicker and punter.
