1Johnson, Sam (Joseph)AL2020At the 2024 Southern Showcase in May, Johnson again showed why he is the best available punter in the country. He put together the single biggest charting session of the entire 2024 Kohl's National Showcaes Tour in May, scoring 119 points and winning the final punt compeition with 300 athtletes in attendance. He also had a tremendous performance at the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcasewhere he posted a 48+ yard average during the charting session easily making the final competitions of the event. Johnson notably had the most consistent punting performance of the group on film during the final competitions. He also showed an ability to kick off, with his biggest kickoff having 68 yards of distance and 3.77 seconds of hang time. Johnson has shown the ability to compete and play right away this fall at a D1 program.Valparaiso
2Van Winkle, JarenAL2021At the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcase, Van Winkle earned a spot in final competitions by finishing third overall in punt charting. He showed his ability to swing up and through the ball with the second highest hang time average of camp. Van Winkle also showed his ability to kick field goals, scoring a respectable 7 points, and scoring 102+ points on kickoffs. Van Winkle proved his ability to punt at a high level, and had a nice showing in final competitions.UT Martin
3Earnest, StevenOH2019Earnest showed very well at the 2024 Kohl's Western Showcase Camp in Phoenix. The punter showed well in-the-pocket as a traditional punter, as well as outiside the pocket. He topped the charts in-the-pocket with a 54-yard average with a slight tailwind, and tied for second as a roll-out punter. He also was one of the last punters standing during the final competition. He also hit a 75-yard, 3.55-second kickoff and scored 8 on field goals. Earnest would be a nice addition to compete for a spot as a versitle punter and combo athlete.RMU
4Dunn, JaxsonPA2024Dunn earned his 5th star at the 2024 Kohl’s Eastern Showcase Camp in Philadelphia. The long, athletic punter has learned to use his levers to his advantage, and should continue to excel because of it. He placed second in charting, with the majority of his punts having 44 yards or more in distance. He showed his ability to create hang time, with multiple punts having over 4.7 seconds of hang time, and showed consistency during the afternoon drillwork session. He also showed an ability to pick up roll-out punting if needed. He should continue to progress with roll-outs over the summer as well.Arkansas State*
5Gagnon, ChanceFL2021Gagnon topped the punt charts at the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcase in January, earning him a spot in the final competitions against a very good group of punters. During charting, over half of his punts had 50+ yards of distance, with an overall 50-yard average. He also showed his ability to be a nice combo prospect, making a consistent score of 8, which also landed him in the finals for the field goal competition. He is continuing work on his kickoff technique to create more power, and would make a nice starting punter who also knows how to step in and kick if needed.West Georgia
6Lawson, OwenMO2020Owen Lawson showed another nice performance at the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcase, where he posted the highest average hang time of the event during charting (4.58). He charted 4 punts with over 4.8 seconds of hang time. At the Texas Showcase in December his best ball was a big one, at 64 yards with 4.69 seconds of hang time. His consistency in his hang times has improved since the staff saw him last, and has noticeably improved overall as a punter. He was one of the two clear top finishers at the Texas Showcase and is available to transfer and compete for a starting spot as soon as possible.Albany
7Melanson, MichaelNV2012Melanson has found success at multiple Kohl's events in the past and has shown well in past seasons at the College of Sequoias. His most recent Kohl's event was the 2024 Transfer Showcase in Texas. He was able to finish in the top group of punters who advanced to the competition finals of the camp. His biggest punt had 51 yards of distance with 4.41 seconds of hang time. He's shown consistency over the years and is ready to compete for a job as a transfer.Sac State
8Hammond, WilliamWI2021At the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcase, Will Hammond had a great performance. Finishing in the top 7 of punt charting, Hammond qualified for the final competitions of the event. With a final score of 102.2, he averaged 41.9 yards per punt. He charted four balls with over 45 yards of distance, showing consistency and power. He was able to compete among a great group of punters in the competition finals and is ready to make an impact competing for a job this spring/fall
9Janish, ElliotOK2020For the second year in a row, former QB Janish Elliot made his way into the competition finals at the Kohl's Transfer Showcase. In 2024 he was able to finish in the top 8 for average distance. In 2023 His punt score of 113.5 included many punts in the 50-yard, 4.2-4.5 range. Janish has very good hands and is very close to being ready to go into a "Power Five" Game and be dependable. Janish has the hands and frame D1 coaches are looking for and has college game experience!
10Grossbard, EmmittNY2020Grossbard is a UCLA student and has attended multiple Kohl's events. His latest was the 2023 Transfer Challenge were his made the finals as a punter. Grossbard charted a score of 109.3 on day one of camp. His hands and ability to drive the ball have gotten better over the last year or so. Grossbard has the ability to help a college football team. If his drop is clean and he's timing his hips up well, Grossbard can hit 4.7-5.0 type hang-times!
11Mason, DeanIN2024Mason recently bumped up to a 5-star level punter at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed consistency in his charting over the course of three sessions at the event. He hit multiple punts with over 50 yards in distance. He also reached the 5-second hang time mark with a punt in his second charting session. At the Midwest Showcase he averaged over 46-yard per punt with a pair of punts having over 60 yards in distance. He is an good-looking athlete who has the tools to greatly progress as a punter, and add hang time to match his distance. Mason has showed much progress, and is ready to compete for a punting job this season.

12Cox, CullenMS2021Cox competed at the 2024 Southern Showcase in Atlanta in May. He showed the ability to create distance with his punting, charting half of his punts with over 49 yards. He showed the ability to get height with flashes of consistent hang time with punts up to 4.47 seconds. He will continue to progress with height this summer and has a chance to move up even higher in the rankings. He is a great prospect to keep an eye on this summer to compete for a job this fall.
13Jula, CarterFL2024At the 2024 Kohl’s Southern Showcase in May, Jula competed against a large field of athletes. He has a very large upside, and showed an ability to hit multiple punts with over 5 seconds of hang time. He has the athletic ability to develop into a 5-star punter as he continues to develop. He was able to hit a punt 45 yards with 5 seconds of hang time during charting, and showed he has the tools during the drillwork phase of camp.Nevada
14Orr, DevinOH2024At the 2024 Kohl's Eastern Showcase, Devin Orr graded out at the 4.5-star level in both kicking and punting. With a top 3 kickoff leg at the event, Orr hit 3 of his 5 kickofffs over 69 yards down field. While scoring 8 field goals during charting, he had a great drillwork session in the afternoon in front of the staff. He has a smooth, crisp swing that will help him in the years to come. He also finished sixth as a punter at the event. Orr is available now and is worth a look as a remaining uncommitted 2024 combo prospect.EKU
15Dowd, CadeTX2022This spring at the Kohl’s Western Showcase, Dowd once again showed he is continuing to progress. This time, he also showed his unique ability to punt outside the pocket with his roll-out punts by posting the highest roll-out score of the event. Cade Dowd bumped up to a 4.5-star rating with his performance at the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcase, showing his improvement. The punter posted a 40-yard punt average with a best punt of 49 yards. At the Texas Showcase, he stepped up under pressure and won the final punt competition at the event. He has shown improvement with each event over the past year, and would be a good addition for a program looking for a versatile punter inside, and outside the pocket.Pittsburgh
16Dorsey, LoganTX2021Dorsey competed at the Kohl’s 2024 Texas Showcase camp this spring, where he won the afternoon punt competition. Toward the end of his morning charting session he found a rhythm, and charted three punts in a row with over 42 yards of distance. He showed a nice athletic ability as a punter, especially with his biggest punt that had 47 yards of distance, and 4.43 seconds of hang time. He will continue continue to develop as a college prospect and is an available punter for this coming fall.
17Lindstrom, HunterTX2021Hunter Lindstrom recently competed at the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcase. Lindstrom was close to making the punt finals, posting a score of 99.8 points with an average distance measuring in as top 6 at the event. Lindstrom showed great drive with his punting and will continue to add hang time. His farthest punt was a 50-yard ball. He is ready to transfer and compete for a roster spot this fall.
18Ellis, ThomasCO2018At the 2023 Kohl's Western Showcase, Thomas Ellis finished charting with a 44.3-yard punt average. Ellis showed consistency hitting his three furthest punts with 48, 49, and 50 yards yards of distance. He will continue to develop to add hangtime to his punts over the next few months and is available for transfer, looking for a college home for this fall.Western Oregon
19Yurkunas, SheaTX2022Punter Shea Yurkunas competed at the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcase in Dallas, Texas this past January. The punter finished the event with a 43.1-yard punt average, posting multiple punts of over 50 yards in distance. His biggest punt was a 50-yard ball with 4.45 seconds of hang time. Yurkunas showed great leg strength and is continuing to work on his consistency with the big ball. He is a great prospect who deserves to be evaluated by programs looking for a punter.
20Hardy, AlexGA2018Alex Hardy last competed at the 2024 Transfer Showcase in Dallas, TX in January. There he kicked off with a final score of 99.5 with his biggest kick having 67 yards of distance and 3.48 seconds of hang time. Hady earned a spot in the competition finals by winning a field goal competition in front of the whole camp. He has a nice smooth field goal technique. He also charted punts, with an average distance of 41+ yards. He charted four punts with over 45 yards of distance. Hardy would make a nice combo prospect for a program and is available to transfer.
21Aller, LukeVA2023Luke Aller earned 4.5 stars after topping the punt charts at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Showcase Camp in December. Aller posted 3 punts of 50 yards or more, with his highest punt having 4.51 seconds of hang time. He showed consistent leg strength while averaging 45 yards in distance. Aller is a 2023 transfer punter with plenty of eligibility left to make an impact for a team this year, and plenty seasons following.
22Rigby, OzloFL2021Rigby notably moved up to 4.5-star status as a punter with his performance at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July. He hit multiple punts of over 50 yards with a notable 57-yard punt. At the 2023 Kohl's Southern Showcase in May, Rigby participated in both kicking and punting. The Florida athlete showed consistency connecting on 12 points during field goal during the charting session. He also showcased a few long kickoffs with his biggest traveling 72 yards and having 3.81 seconds of hang time. He also charted punts, with a hang time on his biggest punt reaching more than 4.5 seconds. Rigby would be a nice kicking prospect who could serve as a punter or back-up punter as well.
23Peterman, CrewAZ2021At the 2023 Kohl's Western Showcase in December, Crew Peterman competed in both kicking and punting. He showed his leg strength by finishing in the top 5 of the kickoff charts. His biggest kickoff was a 71-yard kick with over 4 seconds of hangtime. He stepped up during the drill evaluation phase of camp and showed an ability to consistently strike a football on field goals. He has a powerful ball-striking ability and is continuing to gain consistency. He also graded out at the 4.5-star level as a punter by finishing in the top 10 at the event, showing his ability to be a solid combo kicking/punting prospect. Peterman is ready to compete for a job!
24Barth, EmoryKS2023Punter Emory Barth competed at the 2023 Kohl's Spring Ranking Event in March. He hit multiple punts that traveled 50 yards or more, with his highest charted punt having 4.71 seconds of hang time. Barth consistently hit punts with a 45-yard average at the event and graded out at the 4.5-star level. He is a 2023 still on the board and available as a college punter.

Barba, MaxMD2023Barba competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp, and showed the same prowess at kicking he did in the spring. He also slightly bettered his punting score, showing another discipline he continues to improve on to add to his toolbox. At the 2023 Southern Showcase in May he connected on 12 of 15 points during field goal charting and demonstrated his leg strength during kickoff charting. His first charted ball was a 76-yard kick with 4.14 seconds of hang time. He would go on to chart 4 of his 5 kicks over 70 yards, finishing in the top few of kickoff charting.
Ellis, ThomasCO2018At the 2023 Kohl's Western Showcase, Thomas Ellis finished charting with a 44.3-yard punt average. Ellis showed consistency hitting his three furthest punts with 48, 49, and 50 yards yards of distance. He will continue to develop to add hang time to his punts over the next few months and is available for transfer, looking for a college home for this fall.West Oregon
Regier, EthanTX2023Regier's most recent event was the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in Tennessee. He showed he's been working with multiple kicks of over 46 yards in distance over the course of the weekend's charting sessions. He again upped his big ball from the last event with a 46-yard punt having 4.4 seconds of hang time. At an event during the Kohl's Showcase Tour he posted a 45 yard punt with 4.49 seconds of hang time at the event, showing his progress from just this past March. At a spring ranking event in 2024, Ethan Regier scored a 93.53 during punt charting. Regier is a younger transfer with more years of eligibility than most, and is continuing to develop his leg strength and consistency. He is already showing signs of his progress in a few amount of weeks and is continuing to work over the summer. He has continued to progress and is available to compete for a starting job this season
Schuette, DeakonIL2023Deakon Schuette earned a 5-star rating in Atlanta at the 2023 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp. He tied for third in the field goal charts with 14 points at an event with close to 200 specialists. Schuette earned a third-place finish outright in kickoffs with a score of 111. He charted the single biggest kickoff at the event with 76 yards of distance and 3.81 seconds of hang time. Schuette has plenty of eligibility and should compete for the job if given the opportunity at any level.
Watson, NathanielNC2023Nathaniel Watson competed at the 2023 Kohl's Southern Showcase camp in December. He graded out as a 4-star punter at the event and is continuing to improve. Watson averaged just under 40 yards per punt, with his biggest reaching 47 yards of distance. The North Carolina native is continuing to work and is available for transfer options as soon as possible.
Wojnowski, Adam2023Adam Wojnowski graded out as both a 4-star kicker and punter competing in Chicago at the 2023 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase Camp. He showed consistency on kickoffs, with most of his kicks having over 58 and 60 yards of distance. Most a number of big punts had over 3.5 seconds of hang time. His punting included a group of punts with well over 45 yards with a long of 51. He is continuing to build consistency in his punting and should make some nice strides in the next few months. He is a 2023 combo prospect with plenty of years of eligibility ahead.

Banister, NoahCA2022Noah Banister competed at the 2023 Winter Ranking Event in Los Angeles. The athlete from California competed as a punter/kickoff specialist, posting a final score of 84.36 during the punt charting phase of camp. During the the drill work period of the event, Banister showed flashes of consistency that he will continue to build over the fall and summer months.
Fischer, Gene2024At the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp, Fischer competed as a combo prospect. He showed his ball-striking ability by converting 19 field goals over the course of three charting sessions in Tennessee. During the second kickoff charting session, Fischer charted every ball over 64 yards, with his biggest being a 67-yard kickoff with 3.62 seconds of hang time. He is a recent graduate who is developing nicley and is available to play for a college program this season.Bishop
Kwon, Ryan2024Kwon competed at the 2024 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event in Texas. It was his first ranking event. He scored 81.30 points on punt charting and graded out as a 3.5-star punter. Kwon's best ball was a 39-yard punt with 4.26 seconds of hang time. Kwon showed flashes of consistency throughout charting. Hard work in the weight room and flexibility training will aid in Kwon's development.
Sutherlin, WillOK2023Sutherlin competed at the 2024 Kohl’s Texas Showcase in May. The punter, from the state of Oklahoma, charted multiple punts with more than 40 yards of distance. His first punt out of the gate traveled 49 yards in the air. Sutherlin shows signs of potential and will continue to develop over the summer. He also shows a potential to possibly roll-out as a punter outside the pocket. He is available this fall as a transfer punter.

Miles, JohnIL2023John Miles competed at the 2024 Kohl's Transfer Showcase in Dallas, Texas this past January. At the event, he charted 98.4 points during the kickoff session while posting his biggest kickoff at 61 yards and 3.93 seconds of hang time. Miles is continuing to work on his consistency with field goals and shows potential. He is a 2023 graduate who has a good amount of eligibility ahead of him.
