1. Carlson And Morstead Earn AFC and NFC Player Of The Week Awards

In Week 1 of the NFL season, Kohl's athletes Daniel Carlson of the Las Vegas Raiders and Thomas Morstead of the New Orleans Saints were recognized for their top performances this week during the NFL opening game.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Daniel Carlson - K - Raiders

Carlson connected on all 6 kicks including 2 field goals and 4 extra points. He connected on his NFL career long field goal of 56-yards.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Thomas Morstead - P - Saints

Morstead pinned 5 of his 6 punts inside the 20-yard-line with a 44-yard punt average, and a 44-yard net punt average. His punt unit had only 1 punt return that was returned for 0 yards.
