Over the past few years, a partnership between the Kick-It Champions Program through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and Kohl's Kicking, Punting, and Long Snapping Camps has shed light to football players across the country on how they can make an impact in their community that stretches beyond the football field.
MILLION DOLLAR MILESTONE
The kickers, punters, and long snappers raise pledges and donations prior to and during the season for every point, kick, snap, or yard they will accumulate over the season. The funds raised go toward pediatric cancer research. This week, Kohl's athletes have reached a major milestone, collectively raising over one million dollars since the partnership launched.
The partnership has been a massive success in the fight against pediatric cancer, and also in teaching athletes there is more to life than football.
