1. 2022 National punter Ratings

We only evaluate campers that we have personally seen at a Kohl's camp. In order to assure yourself a ranking you must attend a Kohl's Showcase camp or the Scholarship camp.

When ranking we ask the question, "If there was a college game today, is this athlete ready to help a college team win?". We look at the camp charts and take into account the different conditions at each camp. We also look strongly at how an athlete performs in drill work when they know they are being evaluated and graded. We see how they handle pressure and react in the camp competitions. We see certain athletes multiple times a year and try to grade them on their average performance.

Kohl's sees more athletes than anyone else in America at our 135 events.

There will be over 300 Kohl's high school seniors playing college football next season. There are many good prospects at the 4.0 and 4.5 star levels that will start in college in the future.

His biggest punt on the day was 43 yards with 4.03 seconds of hang time and his big kickoff for the day was 54 yards with 3.34 seconds of hang time. Being a younger combo player, now is the crucial time for Ferrell to focus on improving the technical details of his punting and kicking to improve his consistency. Over the next year, with some dedication in the weight room and drill work, Ferrell can expect to see a big jump in his performance.

He showed promise as a combo specialist and definitely has a strong understanding of the fundamentals. During the field goal session, Matysczyk charted 8 points out of 11 possible, his "A" ball was very clean. Punting technique, drop and body mechanics, should be a focus to help improve the consistency of his punts. Matysczyk has the foundation to become a strong combo prospect with natural development. He is dedicated to becoming the best specialist he can be and we expect some big things this upcoming fall.

He showed growth in his technique at the camp and this upcoming year will be important for him to develop the skills to compete with athletes ranked ahead of him. The 2019 Winter Showcase was Petrino's first ranking camp with Kohl's and he had a very solid showing. He earned an invite to the Future Stars Event in January of 2020 with a strong performance at the Showcase Camp. Being tall and athletic helped and his frame can handle some more strength added to it from time spent in the weight room. He charted 5 points out of 11 on field goals and showed good fundamentals on technique. As he continues to get stronger and fine-tune his technique skills, his kickoffs will drastically improve. Continued hard work will provide great results in the future for Andrew.

He showed refinement in all three areas of kicking and punting at camp. He charted 5 points in the field goal portion and was able to chart a big ball of 54 yards with 2.68 seconds on kickoff. Creating more command of his ball rotation should allow him to create more confidence in his consistency and help bring out his "A" ball more often. Catching the ball cleanly and continuing to work on releasing the ball smoothly should his consistency improve on his punting.

He flashed his potential in his field goals and was able to chart a big ball of 63 yards with 3.38 seconds of hang time. He was able to score points in the roll-out portion of camp and with continued improvement of his drop, he will be able to create more command of his contact point with the ball on punting.Jones attended the 2020 June Showcase Series.
