Kohl's Comments

Gudmundsson recently competed at the Kohl's Winter Showcase and had a solid showing in all three disciplines. During the field goal charting, he scored 9 points, which demonstrated repeatability and improved accuracy. He hit a big ball of 63 yards with 3.66 seconds during the kickoff portion of charting and averaged a total score of 99 points. For the punting session, his "A" ball for the set was 48 yards with 4.48 seconds of hang time. Gudmundsson possesses a lot of talent and with some continued focus on the fine details of each phase - like foot position at contact and cleaner drops on punts - he'll take a big step in his development. Gudmundsson put together a strong performance during the 2022 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 14 points during the field goal charting sessions, he added in a total average kickoff score of 106.283 points and had a big ball during the punt charting of 47 yards with 4.91 seconds of hang time. Gudmundsson showed off all of the hard work he put in this summer and looks to be in for an excellent senior season.
