Kohl's Comments

Lewis competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024. He scored 23/36 points on field goals, 101.37 points on kickoffs, and 101.15 points in punting at the event. Lewis also competed well at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He took big steps in improving his punting ranking as he showcased a consistent drop and improved technique. Lewis scored 104.43 points on punts, 109.20 points on kickoffs, and 10/15 points on field goals. Lewis' best punt was a 50-yard punt with 4.46 seconds of hang time. Lewis charted multiple punts of 50 or more yards. His best kickoff was a 73-yard kickoff with 3.69 seconds of hang time. Lewis can excel at the college level as both a kicker and punter. Lewis came out to the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Camp in January. He scored 4 points on field goals and showed smooth mechanics during the drill work portion of camp. Lewis kicked off well, scoring 95.55 points on kickoff charting. Lewis connected on a 67-yard kickoff with 3.21 seconds of hang time. Lewis scored 88.29 points on punt charting with a big ball of 37 yards with 4.29 seconds of hang time. Lewis has big ball potential in all 3 disciplines. Lewis recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase. Here he showed great improvement from the last event, earning himself his 4.5-Star kicker rating. He put up 6 total points on the field goals. During the kickoff charting, Lewis was able to connect with his big ball of 69 yards with a hang time of 3.73. On the punt charting, Lewis had an overall score of 93.54 seconds, also striking a majority of his footballs 40+ yards. Lewis also competed at the 2023 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. He had solid drill work on field goals at camp. He produces a clean rotating football with good lift, and he scored 8 points in the charting portion of camp. He connected with a big ball of 63 yards with 3.41 seconds of hang in the kickoff charting at camp. His biggest charted punt at camp was 43 yards with 4.14 seconds of hang time.
