Kohl's Comments
Hoiland recently attended the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He has worked hard the past 6 months on increasing his command of his ball/foot contact and he's developed into a pure ball striker. He scored 20 combined points in the field goal charting and charted a big ball of 67 yards with 3.74 seconds of hang time. His leg has gotten stronger and he's hitting the ball well going into his senior season. He has developed a consistent drop in punting and has the ability to do all three in college. His biggest charted punt at camp was 39 yards with 4.28 seconds of hang time. Hoiland competed at the 2023 Midwest Spring Showcase Camp. He had a very productive day at camp by charting well in all three disciplines. He scored 7 points in the field goal charting portion and connected with a big ball of 65 yards with 3.87 seconds of hang time in the kickoff charting. Athlete Bio
Coming from a 9-year soccer background, kicking came naturally to me. I was recruited by the head coach for varsity, making the starting job my first year for Moundsview. Kicking quickly became my favorite sport over basketball and soccer. Believing in God, plus a burning fire work ethic, I believe I will reach my goal of playing college football at the highest level. I will take any opportunities given to me by coaches, teammates, and God, which I am more than ready to take on.
