Patten recently competed at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase and delivered an excellent performance. He scored an impressive 13 points on field goals, showcasing consistency and accuracy. Patten earned a kickoff score of 105.25, with his big ball traveling 71 yards and hanging for 3.80 seconds. In punts, he achieved an overall score of 91.74, with his "A" ball traveling 47 yards and hanging for 3.98 seconds. Patten's strong performance highlighted his versatility and potential as a top-tier specialist. Patten came out to the 2024 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event in Texas. He shined bright as a combo athlete once again. Patten scored 9 points on field goals, 105.95 points on kickoffs, and 95.31 points on punt charting. His leg strength has improved over the last few months. Patten connected on a big kickoff of 67 yards with 3.97 seconds of hang time. His best punt was a 41-yard punt with 4.88 seconds of hang time. These next few months will be exciting for Patten as he heads into the offseason. Patten recently attended the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed well in all three disciplines at camp and produced 21 points in the field goal charting. His overall score on kickoffs was 97.45 which includes a big ball of 64 yards with 3.51 seconds of hang time. He flashed potential in his punting and scored 85.80 points. His biggest charted punt at camp was 38 yards with 4.13 seconds of hang time. He is hitting the ball with confidence and should be in a great position to have a great senior season. Patten had a strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Spring Ranking Event. He showed increased leg strength and competed in all three disciplines at camp.
