Kohl's Comments

Buchanon had a strong showing overall at the 2020 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed high level leg talent and ability and had an excellent camp in all three disciplines. He scored 25 points in the field goal charting, had a big ball of 71 yards with 3.81 seconds of hang time and was able to hit a big punt of 46 ards with 4.59 seconds of hang time. He has excellent leg speed and was impressive at the event. Buchanan competed in the 2020 June Showcase Series. He showed the leg talent needed to compete at a high level on kickoffs with a 70 yard 3.77 second hang time hit. Buchanan attended the Texas Showcase camp in December of 2018. He had a solid performance during the field goal charting portion of camp with 6 made field goals.
