Kohl's Comments

Novotny recently attended the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He competed in all three disciplines and had an excellent performance in the roll out punting as well. He scored 82.79 points overall in the traditional punting and was able to chart 17 points in the roll-out punting. He commands his rotation well and looked comfortable in space. His overall score on kickoffs was 96.88 points which includes a big ball of 65 yards with 3.81 seconds of hang time. Novotny competed at the 2024 Kohl´s Midwest Spring Showcase. He had a great showing for his first ranking event, earning his 4.5-star rating in both specialties. During the kickoff charting, Novotny had a good overall score of 108.10. His big ball measured a distance of 75 yards with a hang time of 3.54 seconds. During the punt charting, he showed some good pop on the ball sending a majority of his balls 40+ yards. Novotny has positioned himself well as a talented combo prospect that has shown he has the tools to compete at the next level
