Jones had an excellent showing at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He showed dramatic improvement with his leg strength and overall improved form. He scored 8 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 101.05 which includes his big ball of 65 yards with 3.65 seconds of hang time. His punts saw the biggest improvement overall and he charted a score of 99.88. His biggest charted punt at camp was 48 yards with 4.43 seconds of hang time. Jones competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Fall Ranking Event. He displayed impressive leg strength at camp for his age and charted some excellent footballs throughout the camp.
