Kohl's Comments

Kato came out to the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in December. He scored 80.53 points on punt charting and competed well in some difficult weather conditions. Kato's best punt traveled 48 yards with 3.42 seconds of hang time. He gets great drive on the ball. Continued hard work on his drop table will aid in Kato's growth over the next year. Kato recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Future Stars Event. He charted several excellent punts at camp, and he looked more comfortable moving throughout his approach to ball/foot contact. His biggest charted punt at camp was46 yards with 3.70 seconds of hang time. Kato competed at the 2022 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase Camp, his first Kohl's ranking event. He showed that his focus and rhythm he has throughout his punting motion has him working on the right path for his future. He finished with several punts over 35+ yards, his best being 39 yards with 4.21 seconds of hang time.
