Kohl's Comments

Nichols recently competed at the 2020 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed excellent leg strength once again and was able to chart some impressive punts including a big ball of 38 yards with 4.48 seconds of hang time. He scored points in the roll-out portion of camp and continuing to focus on a consistent drop will help his punting continue to make improvements. Nichols competed in the 2020 June Showcase Series where he demonstrated next level talent. He hit multiple 46+ yard punts and also displayed the ability to perform the roll out punt. Nichols will be someone to keep an eye on in the 2021 recruiting class because he has the talent required to be dominant.
