    Kohl's Comments

Abbes competed at the 2017 Western December Showcase. His kickoffs were excellent. Creating as much confidence in his field goals as he does his kickoffs will be key for his development. He charted 4 made kicks on field goals, he bounced back nicely in the drill work and hit some solid field goals. He hit some big punts as well during the charting, creating more command of his "A" ball when he needs to call on it will help him develop into a very high end combo prospect. Abbes attended the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2017. He moved up in both kicking and punting in our national rankings. Abbes graded out at the 4.5 level in both disciplines and in the top 30 as a kicker and as a punter. He has made nice athletic gains since May of 2017. His overall ball striking has improved as well as his "A" ball.
