Wells came out to the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 12 points on field goals, 98.82 on kickoffs, and 92.79 on punts. Wells is a talented combo athlete who has good athleticism. His best kickoff was a 65-yard ball with 3.60 seconds of hang time. His best punt was a 51-yard punt with 4.06 seconds of hang time. Wells recently competed at the 2024 Kohl´s Southern Spring Showcase. Here he had a great performance for his first time at a ranking event, earning his 4.5-star rating as a kicker. Wells showed good command of the football on his field goal session, scoring 8 points. During the kickoff charting, Wells had his standout ball measure a distance of 69 yards with a hang time of 3.41 seconds and ended the session with a score of 103.55.
