Kohl's Comments

Bumstead had a solid showing at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He has improved his catch/mold and has increased the command of his ball/foot contact. He moved well throughout his approach and connected with some well struck footballs. His overall score after three sessions punting was 85.70 and he flashed excellent potential for a younger athlete. His biggest charted punt was 39 yards with 4.41 seconds of hang time and he scored 7 points in the rollout portion of camp. He will be fun to watch develop the next 4 years. Bumstead showed well at the 2024 Future Stars Camp. He is building solid fundamentals and as his leg strength improves the next 4 years, he will continue to see increased hang time and distance on his punts. His biggest charted punt during the camp was 32 yards with 3.62 seconds of hang.
