After winning third in the Illinois class 3A state finals for soccer a freshman and being added to the All-State watch list, he found love for the game of football while training in the off-season. He quickly became the starting Varsity kicker his sophomore year having all his hard work pay off. He turned to Kohl's kicking camps after his sophomore season to hone in his skills and get training on the next level. He has progressively gotten better with every training session and every camp he has attended. In December 2018 Collyn attended the Kohl's National Ranking Camp in Chicago, where earned a 4 1/2 star national ranking, based on his consistent FGs and 60+ yrd KOs. Collyn has managed with hard work, while playing multiple sports on a high level to maintain a 4.0 G.P.A. through is sophomore year. The summer of 2019 he has taken on a new challenge to learn the art of punting, and with training has progressively gotten better. In June 2019 Collyn received an invite to Kohl's National Scholarship Camp and is very excited to attend. He has been training hard all year round and looks forward to the upcoming camps with Kohl's and the upcoming high school season as a junior.
