Kohl's Comments
Hahn came out to the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He had a solid showing and earned another half-star as a kicker. Hahn scored 17 points on field goals and 92.37 on kickoffs. He showcased improved field goal technique and range. Hahn's best kickoff was a 63-yard ball with 3.15 seconds of hang time. Hahn also scored 87.38 points on punt with a big ball of 43 yards with 4.22 seconds of hang time. Hahn competed at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He shined brightest as a punter during his first ranking event. Hahn scored 92.13 points on punt charting with a big ball of 51 yards with 4.31 seconds of hang time. His flexibility is good and he strikes his punts with good rhythm. Hahn scored 5 points on field goals and 98.70 points on kickoffs. His best kickoff was a 65-yard kickoff with 3.41 seconds of hang time. My name is Ethan Hahn, and I am a Class of 2025 kicker/ punter at Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy in Moneta, VA. I am a versatile athlete and enjoy playing many sports. I am a dedicated and valuable teammate. I know people say to focus on one sport if you hope to play in college, but I enjoy learning and studying strategies in all the sports. I think what sets me apart is my versatility and competitive nature. My athleticism is my God-given talent. I am naturally inclined to read the situation and my body. I can hyper focus when I need to learn a new play or skillset. I enjoy being a part of a team and I look to make my teammates stronger. I always put the team above myself. Life is full of opportunities, and I take full advantage to learn new things from sports, to skiing, to surfing, and I also took my first flight lesson this winter! I am thinking I would like to earn my commercial pilot's license and a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautics or Business when I go to college. The sky is the limit! In conclusion, I know I can be an asset to a collegiate level team.
