Kohl's Comments

Honberger recently compete at the 2024 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase. He once again competed in all three disciplines and had another good overall showing. He scored 6 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 92.50 points in the kickoff portion of camp. His biggest charted kickoff was 61 yards with 3.15 seconds of hang time. His punt charting produced a score of 80.38 which includes his big ball of 40 yards with 4.07 seconds of hang time. Honberger came out to the 2024 Kohl's Eastern Showcase Camp in May. He scored 87.54 points on punts, 4 points on field goals, and 87.00 points on kickoffs. His punting abilities have improved since we saw him last, as he connected on multiple punts with 4.40 seconds of hang time or more. Honberger smashed a 44-yard punt with 4.45 seconds of hang time during camp. Continued focus on technique refinements on field goals and kickoffs will help Honberger blossom into a solid combo prospect in the 2026 class.
