A total of 39 Kohl's Kicking athletes have made the Lou Groza Award and Ray Guy Award preseason watch lists as we head into the 2018-2019 college football season.
Kohl's CommentsKing has attended previous camps with the most recent being the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2018. He had a good performance during the charting of field goals at camp with 27 points out of 36. Continuing to gain the athletic strength to compete with athletes ranked ahead of him will see good things happen over the next year. King earned an invite to the Kohl’s Future Stars Event in January of 2018 after a solid performance during the 2017 December Showcase Series. He had some impressive kicks at camp and should continue to develop into a bright young specialist. He has the right tools and is a good young specialist with a lot of potential.
Played club soccer as a youth, transitioned to kicking as a freshman. Sophomore season showed tremendous improvement with accuracy, consistency and leg strength. Kickoffs typically reaching inside the opponents 10.
PAT's and Field Goals were greatly improved as well. Opportunities just were not there very often.
Is a part of Kohls Training Division Spring 2018
