Carney recently attended his first ranking camp, the 2024 Texas Fall Ranking Event. He showed solid ball striking skills in the field goal charting and produced some above average kickoff distances in the charting portion of camp. He scored 5 points in the field goal portion and produced an overall score of 95.35 in the kickoff charting. His biggest charted ball was 61 yards with 3.44 seconds of hang time.
