Kohl's Comments

Gonzales came out to the 2024 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event in Texas. Once again, he showed above-average technique and leg speed. Gonzales scored 10 points on field goals, 107.00 points on kickoffs, and 95.43 points on punts. His leg strength has also improved over the last few months. His best kickoff was a 71-yard blast with 3.66 seconds of hang time. Gonzales' best punt was a 46-yard punt with 4.16 seconds of hang time. Gonzales competed at Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024. He scored 20/36 points on field goals and 98.97 points on kickoffs. Gonzales also had an excellent showing at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase Camp. He displayed increased command of his "A" ball on field goals and has improved his leg strength. He scored 92.97 points in the punt portion and connected with a big ball of 41 yards with 4.17 seconds of hang time. He scored 97.45 in the kickoff charting and was impressive in the field goal portion of camp where he charted 11/15 points. Gonzales attended the 2023 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. Gonzales did very well for it being his first ranking event, showing great pop on the football throughout the event. He was able to slot 6 points on the field goals. During the kickoff charting, Gonzales showed his leg power having multiple balls reach 70+ yards, with his big ball measuring 72 yards with a hang time of 3.21 seconds. Gonzales has a bright future ahead of him and an important next 12-18 months!
