Kohl's Comments

Higgins competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp and scored 107.23 points on kick-offs and 26/36 points on field goals. His field goal range is outstanding and he showed he belongs amongst the best players in the 2026 class. At the Southern Showcase in May of 2024, he scored 14/15 points on field goals and 110.6 points on kickoffs. His drill work reaffirmed that he is a 5-star talent. At the Underclassman Challenge, he was one of the few 2026 class athletes to attend and he showed excellent leg speed and power at camp. His overall score on kickoffs was 102.53 points for the combined two sessions. Transitioning to the ground will take practice and by the end of camp he looked more confident with his ball striking on field goals. He scored 4 points overall in the combined field goal chartings. Higgins competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. Here he showcased his advanced leg speed yet again. Higgins had great rotation of the football during the field goal session, putting up 11/15 points. During the kickoff charting, he connected with a big ball of 76 yards with a hang-time of 3.38 seconds. Higgins is set to have a big junior season!
