Kohl's Comments

Elam competed at the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024. He scored 20/30 points on field goals, 99 points on kick-offs, and 96.12 points in punting. He had another solid showing at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Spring Ranking Event. He showed improved leg strength in the kickoff portion of camp. Overall, he scored 5 points in the field goal charting, and he connected with a big ball of 68 yards with 3.50 seconds of hang time. He flashed excellent potential with his punting at camp and connected with a big ball of 48 yards with 3.58 seconds of hang time. He has the leg strength and coordination to become an excellent combo prospect and with continued focus on his ball/foot contact, he will keep making progress. Elam competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He showed good ball rotation throughout the event. He put up 7/15 points on the field goal charting. During the kickoff session, he was able to put the majority of his balls 60+ yards. Elam is in a good position heading into his junior season!
