Kohl's Comments

Uselton recently competed at the Kohl's Texas Showcase in May of 2022. He made 9 points during the field goal charting phase of camp and charted all of his kickoffs over 60-yards. He continues to develop his technique and should continue to make good gains over the summer. Uselton competed at the 2021 Southern December Showcase. He showed solid refinement in his ball striking on field goals by charting 6 points in the field goal portion of camp. He scored a big ball of 57 yards with 3.21 seconds of hang-time on kickoffs. Increasing his ability to sit back on kickoffs and use his frame more to his advantage will be key for his continued development in his kickoffs.

Athlete Bio

My name is Jackson Uselton, and I am the varsity kicker for Hernando High School, a 6A Mississippi high school just south of Memphis. I was named by The Commercial Appeal (the Memphis newspaper) as the Weekly Top Performer for special teams in the Memphis-area after our Week 7 game in October 2021 and again after our Week 1 game in August 2022. I earned a 4-Star rating at my first Kohl's camp in December 2021 by going 2-for-2 on 45-yard FGs and 1-for-2 on 48-yard FGs. I have a 32 on the ACT (33 super-score), and a 4.35 weighted GPA, and I also play varsity soccer. My Twitter account is @Jackson_Uselton.
