Tidwell came out to the 2024 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event in Texas. He scored 6 points on field goals, 100.05 points on kickoffs, and 82.61 points on punt charting. He continues to showcase above-average leg strength. Tidwell's best kickoff was a 66-yard ball with 3.56 seconds of hang time. Tidwell also connected on a 39-yard punt with 3.71 seconds of hang time. Continued hard work on ball striking will help Tidwell's growth. Tidwell had another strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 15 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 99.12 in the kickoff portion of camp. His biggest charted kickoff at camp was 64 yards with 3.66 seconds of hang time. He has excellent technique and with continued focus on calling on his "A" ball, he should regain the form he has shown at previous events. to Tidwell competed at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase. He had his best showing to date in the field goal charting and was impressive throughout the camp. His field goal charting produced a score of 11 and his overall kickoff score was 103.50. His biggest charted ball at camp was 69 yards with 3.51 seconds of hang time. In the punt portion of camp, he scored 89.85 points and had a big ball of 39 yards with 4.24 seconds of hang time.
