Athlete Bio
Jolon is a sophomore at Cherry Creek High School (CCHS). In a high school of 3,850
students and a football varsity roster of over 100 players, CCHS has a long history of football eliteness. They earned four state championships in the last six years. Freshman year, Jolon started the season as the placekicker and punter for all freshmen and JV games. By the third game of the season, Jolon was getting playing time on the varsity team. By late season, Jolon earned the
confidence of head coach Dave Logan and kicking coach Tim Rickerd to be the
starting placekicker on the varsity team, kicking all extra points and field goals. During the postseason of his freshman year, Jolon scored 21 points (18% of the Bruins total points). Sophomore year, Jolon has earned the job of full-time starting placekicker and punter on varsity.
In addition to playing on the CCHS
football team, Jolon has participated in other sports. Freshman year, he was the goalkeeper on the CCHS JV2 soccer team
and was the goalkeeper for the Colorado Rapids 08 ECNL/ECRL club teams. He also plays club basketball and high school basketball.
