    Athlete Bio

I had a tough decision this fall, stay at Castle View and play soccer with the team I had played with since I was 5, who were ranked in the top 5 in the state and kick for an average varsity football team or go to Valor and kick for the top ranked football program in the state who had an average soccer team.

I chose to stay in Castle View. I felt I owed it to my coach and my team. Our soccer team finished 19th in the state. Not the results we were hoping for but it was great season. Our football team finished 1 and 9.

The last two years of kicking, "I've had only 1 returnable kick." Last year I was All State in football. My kicking distance is strong. I'm consistently kicking "near or out of the end zone" on every kick off. I will post videos now that I have some free time. Playing two varsity sports at the same time took up a lot of time.

My field goal consistency is strong too, unfortunately we had continual snap and line protection issues this year. I just didn't get the opportunities to kick field goals that often. We had very view attempts.

I'm not playing varsity basketball to focus on kicking, lifting and core training during the winter. I don't think that I've come close to my kicking potential. I'm continuing to grow and build muscle mass, currently I'm just under 6'2.

I plan on attending a show case event either this winter or spring.

I think I will have several soccer scholarship opportunities, but my goal is to kick for a division 1 football team.

The goal this spring is to send out and email my videos and bio to many, division 1 football programs with hopes that Im spotted. I feel that I would be a tremendous asset to any football program as a kicker with my leg strength.

I'm applying to the University of Colorado, Boulder where both of my parents went. My father is friends with many of the 1990 National Championship football players who live locally and still work with the team. I've been given the opportunity to try out for the coaching staff when I feel I'm ready.

I'm very confident that I can walk on to the team as a kicker with my leg strength.

At the end of the day I would love to get a scholarship kicking for a Division 1 football program. If that doesn't happen, I look forward to attending the University of Colorado, Boulder, and I look forward to potentially walking on to their program.

    Coaches Notes

My kicking coach, Ivar Zedans can be reached at 303-324-5460 he says, "I have one of the strongest kicking legs he's ever seen and that I could play at any Division 1 school that I wanted to."

Last year, Ivar coached Kohl's 14th nationally ranked kicker who went to Wyoming on scholarship. Ivar says I have a much stronger leg than him. Quite the compliment. I appreciate it.
