Kohl's Comments
Fortman showed increased leg strength and command of his "A" ball at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored a combined total of 20 points in the field goal charting and was able to score a 97.07 on his kickoffs at camp. His biggest charted kickoff was 67 yards with 3.53 seconds of hang time. Fortman competed at the 2022 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase. He has gotten stronger and was able to chart some impressive makes on field goals at camp. Overall, he had a solid drill work portion of camp and was able to chart 4 points in the field goal charting at camp.Athlete Bio
I am a class of '24 kicker for Clinton High School in Clinton, SC. Entering my third year, I have converted 93% of my kicks so far. I am also a 4-year starter on the Clinton Men's Soccer team. In the classroom, I am an honor roll student who takes AP and Honors classes when possible. Outside of school, I am active in my church youth group, enjoy doing community service projects, raised more than $6500 for childhood cancer research, and was selected as a delegate for the Palmetto Boys State leadership program in the summer of 2023. I am a well-rounded, hard-working teammate who will always give it my all, and I expect to study animal science.
