Zapata recently competed at the 2025 Kohl's Future Stars Invitational. He scored 107.05 points in the kickoff charting and connected with 7 points in the field goal charting. His overall score in punting was 88.55 points and his biggest ball charted was 39 yards with 4.12 seconds of hang time. Zapata competed at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase, where he made 2 field goals and earned a 102.35 kickoff score. His standout kickoff traveled 67 yards with a hang time of 3.60 seconds. Zapata also achieved a punt score of 69.72. Continuing to refine his skills this offseason will help him take the next step in his development.
