Kohl's Comments

Rigby had an excellent showing at the Underclassman Challenge in January of 2025. He moved into the 5-star category as both a kicker and punter. Rigby scored 105.09 points in punting, 17 points on field goals, and 116.18 points on kickoffs. Rigby also attended Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He was dominant in the kickoff portion of camp and produced a score of 119.20 and he scored 10 points in the field goal charting. He punted well at camp and had an overall score of 98.18 in the traditional pocket punting. He moves well and scored 12 points in the rollout portion of camp. Rigby competed at Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024. He scored an impressive 28/36 points on field goals and 104.3 points on kickoffs at the event. He also had a strong showing at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. It was his first ranking event and he showed out. His leg speed was excellent, and his command of his "A" ball was excellent. He scored 11/15 points in the field goal charting and had an overall score of 102.55 in the kickoff charting.

Athlete Bio

My name is Lane Rigby. I am a 11th grade student, Class of 2026, at O'Connor High School in Helotes, Texas. I am the starting kicker and punter for the varsity team. Some of my highlights included kicking 48 and 49 yard field goals in the 2023 season. I made 2nd team All District Kicker and 1st Team Academic All District for 2023-2024 school year. This year I had my career long field goal kicking at 52 yarder during the 2024 season. I do really well in school taking Advanced classes and am part of the Gifted and Talented Program. I was just inducted into the National Honor Society and am in the top 6% of my class. I participate in my church youth group activities like going to camps in the summer and winter and being part of nightly bible studies.
