Gerger recently competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Midwest Winter Showcase. Gerger demonstrated good body control and poise through contact. She put up 3 points on the field goal session. Gerger's standout ball on the kickoff charting was measured at a distance of 46 yards with a hang time of 2.83 seconds. Athlete Bio
My name is Mia Gerger, class of 2025. I play Division 6A football and 2A soccer at Glenwood High School in Chatham, Illinois.
My Freshman year I started on Varsity. I was ranked in the top 37 in Illinois, top 6 in division 6A for stats. I also made All Conference. My extra points/ field goal stats were 36 attempts and made 30, which was an overall 83% make rate.
Sophomore year I was ranked in the top 11 in Illinois, top 3 in Division 6A for 1 stat and top 3 in Central State 8 for 2 stats. My extra points/ field goal stats were 55 attempts and 50 made, which was an overall 91% make rate. I was 1 for 1 for field goals. I broke the school record for the most points scored in a season by a kicker. In addition, I was a 2A State champion with my high school soccer team.
Junior year, my extra points were 56 attempted and 55 made. I had 2 field goal attempts and made both. One of those field goals were made in the playoffs to tie the game with no time on the clock. We went into overtime and won the game. I had an overall 98% make rate for extra points and field goals for my Junior season. I also broke another school record for career points for a kicker.
In practice, I consistently hit 40 yards including from both hash marks.
I have had great experiences with my team and coaches during my high school career and would like to continue with this in college. I have attended Kohl's Kicking Camps for the past few years in improving my skills and plan to continue to attend camps.
