Hertz recently attended the 2018 National Scholarship camp. He charted well on kickoffs and punts and showed flashes of his potential during the field goal charting. He scored 15 points during field goals and hit some good balls throughout camp. Increasing the command of his hips through ball contact will help improve his "A" ball coming out. He creates solid tempo and has good confidence in his kickoff approach where he was able to chart a big ball of 67 yards with 3.56 seconds. His big ball in punting was 50 yards 4.43 seconds of hang time. Controlling the drop is key for his continued development. Hertz attended the Spring Showcase Camp in May of 2018. He was impressive during the kick off charting phase of camp with a 67 yard 3.55 second hang time hit. He also had some impressive punts during the camp and showed that he has the ability to do some great things as a combo specialist.
