Kohl's Comments

Carter recently attended the 2021 Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He displayed some impressive leg talent throughout camp, including his best punt of the weekend being a 52-yard punt with a 4.24 second hang time. He added in several kickoffs over 65+ yards. Carter’s leg strength gives him an edge over many other athletes, making him an intriguing prospect in his class!Carter had a strong showing at the 2021 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase Camp. He showed marked improvement in his field goals and kickoffs and was solid as always in the punting portion of camp. He scored 9 points in the field goal charting and was able to hit some excellent kickoffs as well including a big ball of 66 yards with 3.76 seconds of hang time. His big ball on punts was a 42 yard 4.85 second blast. Command his "A" ball on punting will be key for his continued development.

Athlete Bio

I am a versatile athlete, having competed in football (QB, P/K), baseball (RHP) and AAU (100m) track most of my life. My father, Mike Carter, was an Academic All American TE for UCF and signed with the Denver Broncos in 1983.

I am the K/P, Jersey #32, for Lake Minneola High School (Minneola, FL). Former Montverde Academy High School student and Varsity Pitcher. As a freshman, in the 2019 PG High School Showdown in Hoover, AL, was selected for the All-Tournament team after throwing six scoreless innings.

I hold a 4.34 GPA with an SAT of 1340.
