Smith's performance highlights his potential and growth as a specialist, he has a big upcoming season ahead of himself. Smith had a great showing at his first ranking event, The 2024 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase Camp. He showed command of his "A" ball and a smooth swing throughout the event. He scored 6 points in the field goal charting and was able to connect with a big ball of 54 yards with 3.29 seconds of hang time in the kickoff charting portion of camp. He has strong fundamentals and with continued improvement with his leg speed and power, should be able to develop into an excellent prospect over the next two years.
