Kohl's Comments

Goodwin recently attended the Kohl's 2019 Future Stars event at IMG Academy. He generates some very good hang time with his punting and is impressive with his ability to call on his punts when needed. Goodwin competed at the 2018 Midwest Winter Showcase. He displayed improved leg speed and power in his field goals and kickoffs. He scored 7 points in the field goal charting and was able to chart a big ball of 58 yards with 3.28 seconds of hang time. Continued focus on keeping his steps small during his punt approach will be key for his development. Goodwin attended the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2018. he had some solid performances during the punt charting phases of camp with multiple 40+ yard hits. Working on his technique over the next year will be key for Goodwin to compete with the athletes ranked ahead of him.
